High Tide, Higher Purpose
Dominick Diaz, a lifelong Floridian with a deep love for the ocean, founded High Tide with high purpose, drawing inspiration from social benefit corporations like Patagonia, Warby Parker, Ben & Jerry’s, and Envato.
Determined to stop ocean plastic pollution, Dominick launched High Tide as a hemp rolling papers brand with a mission: to clean the seas with every sale. The company began taking pre-orders for its hemp paper cones in February 2024, rapidly gaining a following in the cannabis and gaming communities on X.
High Tide officially launched on June 1, 2024, and has since made waves, rescuing thousands of plastic bottles from the ocean through its partnership with Greenspark.
